This 8 inch by 11 inch painting is another painting of snow. You will often see me painting in a series. Sometimes three or four koi then three snow paintings then some flowers. Usually I paint the same subject matter till I get it out of my system or until something just bursts forth.

Shanti, a beautiful winter painting and I congratulate you on its success. Not painting today or over the weekend - expecting company for a few days. Hope to be more inspired next week.

Shanti, forgot to ask: did you mask out the trees in the foreground?

I didn't use masking but you could, there isn't any reason not to since all the edges are sharp. I just try to paint fast and puttin on masking is time consuming.
